Are there plans to include the latest versions of the frameworks in pypi.org? I see that pypi.org has a web2py 2.1.1.

py4web yes. I just deployed a new version. web2py was never really distributed using pypi.

Well, there is an old package in https://pypi.org/project/web2py/,
maybe it should be removed?
