Hello,

1. I noted that Smartgrid does not search on integers unless I select that specific field on the dropdown search widget menu, so I would like to know how to "enable" this by default so users can search by numbers too.

2. On the other hand, I would like to search on linked tables too.

Is all this possible?, thanks in advance!

You can customize smartgrid and make your own search function. By default you cannot.

Is this an example of a reply that is too terse?

I think you mean "the defaults for smartgrid do not allow searching by integer, but you can customize it with your own search function."

(I am in fact pretty confident that you (Massimo) mean that, but I want to avoid confusion both now and as an archived answer.)
