What do you think about my Shopify 3rd Party APP - Year/Make/Model Search Embed on my site? It is causing a failing CLS score.
I think the UX is good.
There is a slight quick shift to load the YMM Search Bar...if anything it may catch your eye and make one aware of the option to quickly search by YMM. I know that's a stretch, but it's actually kinda cool. It does shift no doubt, but doesn't seem too annoying and is very functional / necessary for my site / industry.
I'm sure there are ways to improve this....I would think making the YMM Search a Clickable Link to a Unique Search Page would probably fix it. But for UX, this really is pretty slick and functional.
What do you think about this and how badly this is affecting SEO / Rankings?
My Page Speed Insights - Core Web Vitals CLS is failing at .24
Mobile failing at .282 and Desktop passing at .04.
I believe the Mobile is much worse because of the size/percentage the YMM takes in the Mobile View Pane.
