• Attempt to solve the problems with the stateful DOM
• How to solve dynamism of HTTP in a good way?
• API space as state machine (http://restinpractice.com/book/ and http://chimera.labs.oreilly.com/books/1234000001708/)
• Leverage tools like https://github.com/nessos/Vagrant to support hot-swapping code
• Support and/or interoperate with existing tools as much as possible:

Almost forgot Anton's mention of unifying development under a single, real language rather than having a collection of not-quite-languages.

Sounds like a great start all!

Unfortunately, I doubt I will be of much use as I simply don't know much about the web other than that I hate nearly aspect of developing for it. Perhaps Ryan can task me with something trivial to help with if I get on at Tachyus. Regardless, I know you all will do great work!

All I can say for sure is that as a developer I want a functional (as in purely-functional) web with a native-like development experience with the shortest possible iteration cycles.

And a pony.

Not sure what else to add, though. If I think of something, I will do so.
