Cameron Taggart pointed me at an OSS RAML type provider last week. I thought I would share: https://github.com/baronfel/ramlsharp.

Dmitry, are you still working on something similar? I wonder if it would be worth pooling resources, assuming you are planning to use an OSS license.

I am planning to publish everything Jet has on the subject in Github shortly.

Jet.com just published two GitHub projects:

Json Schema Type Provider: https://github.com/jet/JsonSchemaProvider

Converter from RAML to WADL: https://github.com/jet/RamlConverter

Hey Ryan,

Thanks for telling me about these at CodeMash, just had a look at the repos listed here, ramlsharp has a type provider for raml but captures only a small subset of the raml spec so doesn't look like what i'm looking for.

Is the best way to use the two jet projects :- use RamlConverter to convert Raml spec to WSDL then use the standard WSDL provider on it?

Thanks,

Hey Yan,

Jet Raml converter is built solely to prepare WADL file for Azure API management portal, so it is a rather limited as well.

BTW WSDL provider is a pain to use in CI environment, I ended up abandoning it altogether in favor of good old Service Reference.

Regards,
Dmitry

The WSDL provider is also not x-platform which is a shame/unusable.
