Hi:
I am trying to setup latest QLPROXY version 3.2.0.4CAF running with SQUID3 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. I need to use Microsoft SQL Server 2008 as database backend, and I am not sure what values to use in settings.py file under /var/opt/quintolabs/qlproxy/console/qlproxy/settings.py. And, also what other packages do I need to install to make MSSQL server work as the backend database?
Thank you.

Hi Courteous,

qlproxy relies on Python Django builtin support for databases. We tested it with database in sqlite and external MySQL. I know it is possible to setup django to use oracle, may be it is also possible to use MSSQL?
Unfortunately I must ask you to search google for this question, sorry. If you anyway manage to do it - do not hesitate to share your findings here.
