WebSafety and DNSafety same machine

Is it possible to install both products (WebSafety and DNSafety) on the same machine?

We never tried such a deployment. I would deploy them separately as two different virtual machines.

Hi.

We are trying to install the two products on the same machine. This machine will be a firewall whose iptables rules will be managed by our FWCloud.net software.

We would like to have everything on the same machine so we are testing the installation but we encounter the following errors:

If it needs to be installed on separate machines, installation is complicated for customers who have multiple locations around the world...

could we do something to fix it?

Hi.

The DNSSafety package tries to copy the WebSafety files and since they already exist it fails:

/etc/logrotate.d/websafety 

/etc/systemd/system/wsgsbd.service

/etc/systemd/system/wsicapd.service

/etc/systemd/system/wssyncd.service

/etc/systemd/system/wsytgd.service

If I force the installation of the dnssafety package...

Could it be that there was an error generating the DNSSafety package?

Most probably we used the installer of web safety as a basis for dns safety - I will try to prepare a new build of dns safety for you without these files and will ask you to try.

Please try installing the 1.0.0.7FDC version of DNS Safety UI package (Debian11) - I have removed those files and the installer should now proceed.

More errors might still occur, so please post them here for me to try to fix.
