Hello everyone,
Web Safety 9.4 - web filter and secure web gateway for Linux is now released. The following changes are included into this version:
- Added support for Squid 6.13 just as in Debian Testing.
- Fixed error with sometimes hanging connections when eCAP Anti-Virus is enabled.
- Added support for third party block lists.
- Added support for custom application lists which can be used in Global Exclusions and Application Blocking rules in polices.
- Added domain regular expression matching rule to Advanced ACLs.
- Added blocking by domain name regular expression to policy rules.
- Added management of HTTP options to Squid settings.
- Fixed non working per policy settings of Safe Browsing module (issue first appeared in version 9.2).
Please note, license key scheme updated to version 6, old license keys version 5 will stop working on 30 October 2027, it is advisable to start phasing out old existing installations of Web Safety and move to version 9.4+ with license scheme valid till 24 January 2035. You can contact
sup...@diladele.com to convert your existing license key to the new scheme.

Upgrade steps required are described in the Admin Guide, but ideally you would just deploy a new virtual appliance and import settings from the old one.
