Hi team,
I'm looking at WDC Product Data Corpus and Gold Standard for Large-Scale Product Matching - Version 2.0 (http://webdatacommons.org/largescaleproductcorpus/v2/) and it seems we have the product category labels for 25 top categories. Do we have something more granular, like Google product taxonomy? I'm looking for a data set where I can have product url, title and descriptions and the label of the product categories (google product taonomy is the one I'm looking for). I want to build a classification model for tagging product categories from the url tile and description.

I saw something at http://webdatacommons.org/structureddata/2014-12/products/gs.html, but we only have around 9000 rows with 200+ categories, and the data is a bit stale.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Best,
Gan

Hi Gan,

beside of the WDC gold standard with 25 categories, we also did some experiments using 222 leaf categories from Open IceCat.

Information about the WDC-25 and the WDC-222 Gold Standards is found here

 http://webdatacommons.org/categorization/index.html

http://data.dws.informatik.uni-mannheim.de/largescaleproductcorpus/categorization/

 Cheers,

Thanks so much Chris! Do you know if we have mapping between the Goldstandard 222 to Google product taxonomy?

Best,
Gan
