How check links

When I click on the Check>Site links or Check>Folder Links, the dialog
window gives me the correct URL for the web site to check. But when I
select that site, it is not placed in the field -- which remains
<untitled>.

I am sure I am doing something just plain dumb.
Can someone tell me how to implement the Check Links feature of
BBEdit?
