Can I use web-app-theme with Rails 2.3.5 in production?

Hi, I want to use web-app-theme with my rails 2.3.5 app, but the README says:

Specify the web-app-theme gem in your Gemfile, only for :development and :test

Is there any reason it won't work in :production for rails 2.3.5?
