Where are you all up to in your Web 2.0 world and how can we share our
knowledge and skill? Who would you like to invite to join us? How can
we bring our colleagues into this world with us?

Hi Hanafiah, Web 2.0 is the second generation of the internet where
you can interact with others. It includes tools such as podcasts,
blogs, wikis and discussion forums. Web 1.0 was simply websites and
email, and is also called the flat web. This version is interactive
and user-led. The next version Web 3.0 will be virtual, we will walk
inside the web (like Second life) and we will get actual physical
feedback from the web.
Cheers, Anita.

Hi Anita
Well done on starting the group! I am a clinical lecturer in medical
education and I am really interested in how we can integrate health
2.0 with medical education. I think your question about how we can
bring our colleagues into this world is a really good one. I guess we
have to come up with some examples of how it can really help people
with their work and lives as they see them now. Sometimes focussing
too much on what the world WILL be like is off-putting for others. For
example, I was wondering recently if any doctors actually use social
bookmarking to help them keep track of material for their clinical
work.

But I didn't find very many!
I really look forward to continuing the conversation!

Hi Anne Marie, I'm so glad you've joined us. Feel free to invite
others. I'm also in facebook if you want to link there. I think it's
more like going to the pub though :-)

Do you find that you are posting things in different places just to
find out who you find and what answers you might get?

Cheers, Anita.

Hi Anita,
It is all a work in progress. I think I am starting to build up a
network of people and I am finding my feet myself. It's just a matter
of taking little steps and then bigger ones.
I'll try to remember to check back:)
