As extreme weather intensifies this summer, I’m proud to be part of a team that doesn’t shy away from straightforwardly explaining how climate change is making wildfire smoke, heat waves, floods, and hurricanes more dangerous. At a time when many news outlets are laying off their climate reporters, we’re more determined than ever to keep telling the truth. That’s why we’re asking readers like you to help us keep our extreme weather coverage growing and thriving.

I’m thrilled to announce that a generous Yale Climate Connections reader has offered to match your contribution dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000. That means that if you donate by August 1, every dollar you contribute will become $2.
