Hello!
We’ve got big news on
nuclear this morning. New Jersey
has fully lifted its ban on new
reactor construction, becoming the
sixth state to do so over the past
decade, Alexander
C. Kaufman reports.
Maria
Gallucci has another
announcement, this time from
next-generation geothermal startup
Fervo Energy. The company has
signed a deal with Turboden
America, which will supply tons of
turbine capacity for Fervo’s
future, undisclosed projects.
And Julian
Spector rounds things out
with an update from San Diego,
where opposition to a 320-MW
battery project proved too strong
for developer AES Corp. Plans for
the array have been rolled back in
what’s sure to be a warning for
other battery builders throughout
California.
