Good Morning,

A front draped across central Indiana has been shifting across the state for the last several days, keeping clouds, drizzle, fog and mild temperatures in the forecast. That pattern will continue through this weekend, with temperatures approaching record values on Sunday afternoon. A strong cold front arrives late Sunday and brings winter back into the forecast in a dramatic fashion on Monday. Today cloudy skies linger throughout the day. There may be a few peeks of sunshine with highs temperatures in the low to mid 50's. Some patchy drizzle could be possible, but otherwise a dry but gray day is expected. Sunday will be the most volatile day of the forecast by far. The day will start with very mild temperatures and fog likely over much of the area, as the stationary front lifts to the north. Temperatures will surge into the mid to upper 60's. Light rain showers will be likely for the northern half of the state for much of the day, with scattered showers for much of the state in the afternoon. As the strong cold front approaches Sunday evening, strong thunderstorms could be possible, with gusty winds being a concern as the front passes Sunday evening. The biggest change will be the temperatures. From Sunday afternoon, where temperatures will be near record highs, to Monday, we could see temperatures drop nearly 40 to 50 degrees.
