Good Evening,
Indiana certainly has a strong claim for the title of "Best Weather in the Country" not only this past weekend, but again today. It’s hard to argue against sunny and 70's. Enjoy a mostly sunny afternoon with just some fair-weather clouds and a refreshing breeze
from the southwest that will be a little gusty at times over 20 mph. Thanks to the dry air of dew points in the 30's, it may feel a little coolish in the shade. That dry air also will allow you to keep your windows open if you’d like as temperatures will settle
back into the 40's overnight tonight with a quick temperature drop after sunset that occurs just before 9 p.m. Strong diurnal temperature swings will happen again tomorrow with a 30°+ difference from the crisp morning to the warmer afternoon of highs in the
upper 70's to near 80°. Tuesday will be dry with an expected line of showers and thunderstorms not arriving until after sunset. You may hear some rumbles of thunder Tuesday night and pre-dawn Wednesday, and there’s an outside chance of a few severe gusts along
that frontal system. But the combination of overnight timing, limited upper-level wind, and relatively dry air should limit severe potential.
