The temperature averaged 55.4°F, which was +4.2°F above normal.  The month tied with April 1985 and 2019 as the 8th warmest such month on record (since 1977).   The month was also the 4th consecutive such month with above normal temperatures.  Fifteen days with temperatures near or below normal.  There was 1 day with a minimum of 32°F or lower and 1 day with a maximum of 90°F.  The last time this occurred was April 14, 2023.  There were 17 days with maximums of 60°F or higher and 4 days with maximums of 80°F or higher. Temperature extremes included 90°F on the 15th and 30°F on the 8th.           

Precipitation totaled 3.10 inches (.80 percent) and was .78 inches below normal.  The month ranked as the 18th driest such month on record and the driest since 2024. The month was also the 6th consecutive month with below-normal precipitation. The most received in 24 hours was 1.59 inches on the 25th. There wasn’t any snowfall in the month (normal is 0.4”).  There were only 5 clear days of 8 overcast days.
