The early part of Sunday looks relatively quiet and very mild for December. Temperatures will likely be in the 60's for most of the day, with showers possible early in the day, but more likely during the afternoon. As the front approaches in the afternoon, southwest winds will pick up, and some showers and heavy downpours along the front may produce gusty winds. There is a marginal risk of severe storms on Sunday evening, mainly from the threat of gusty winds within any storms along the front as it passes. Behind the front, temperatures will drop very rapidly. From the 60's to the 20's in the course of 6 hours. Lows Sunday night may be in the 10's to near 20. Monday temperatures will be bitterly cold for the entire day.
