Good Evening,
The rainy primary day forecast definitely playing out today and the cooler air is arriving on schedule with temperatures ranging from upper 40's north to low 60 south and falling into the lower 50's. That sets the stage for a rather raw, uncomfortably damp
evening. Temperatures are some 25° colder than 24 hours ago due to the passage of a front that’s now south of I-70. Rain will continue overnight into predawn Wednesday. Additional rain amounts additional rain amounts ranging from a half inch to near an inch
are expected along in south of I-70. Rain departs mostly on Wednesday, and unseasonably cool air headlines the weather tomorrow with highs in the lower to mid 50's. A good 15° cooler than average. Dry Thursday and the first half of Friday before another wave
of rain moves through Friday night and pre-on Saturday. Saturday still looks like the better of the two days for Mother’s Day weekend; we expect mostly sunny conditions and highs in the 70's. And we’re still calling for rain likely on Sunday at least to start
before it scatters out in the afternoon.
