Total of 1.1mm of rain since the 19th, a pleasant surprise considering the synoptic charts. A near gale on Friday, though with spells of sunshine, added some interest & provided a photo opportunity. Virtually unbroken sunshine & little wind yesterday, long sunny periods today.

Temperature reached 17.4C yesterday, will be nearer 16C today.

Also, the salt spray haze has finally dis-appeared, so excellent visibility. A couple of photos from this morning on a walk from Marazion to Perranuthnoe.

Shame it wasn't more like this in August. Still, great for the kids at half term. (You'll need a wetsuit now Nick - believe me!)

Yes, two lovely days here as well, plenty of warm sunshine with hardly a breath of wind.

Maximums of 17.3°C & 16.6°C for yesterday and today. Nice.

The sea temp in Lyme Bay at 15.5°C, definitely below my wetsuit threshold now Graham.
