Pershore always seems to be about a degree too high to be believable?

I wonder if it's been checked?

If you watch it closely, you'll see there's one synoptic situation that triggers the Pershore warmth.   The explanation lies in the location at the micro-scale. Shall I give it away?  :)    When I pass Colin the climate station results, I usually comment on whether Pershore has behaved in a particular day; how it tallies with Pershore College and Astwood Bank.  It is telling that PC is the CET station, not Pershore, though I wonder if that was always the case.  Steve Jackson keeps a tally on Pershore too.

One intriguing complication is that recently the SW Midlands has been regionally favourable and there is some support from neighbouring sites on several days.
