Almost a year's rain in last 6 months here in Wembury, SW Devon. Total Oct to March was 990.1mm. 30yr average for this period is 638.9mm. So 155% of average. This beats the previous record high 6-month total of 967mm from Aug 2012 to Jan 2013. My measurements run from 1985. 6 month running.png

Total October to March in Penzance was 956.1mm. However, Autumn is particularly wet here (surrounded by warm sea, danglers etc.) 30yr average is 748.1, so 128% of normal.

The last 6 months have seen 78% of the normal annual rainfall.

It does feel to have been even wetter, probably because the rain's been so relentless and shows little sign of really letting up.
