Bright this morning and into the afternoon, with intermittent sunshine and variable cloud.  More cloudy later in the afternoon and into the evening, with a moderate snow shower towards 19.00 local time.  General covering of snow on all surfaces, despite a slight thaw during the evening.  Cold, with a light to moderate WSW to W wind.
