A mild month with near normal rainfall. The bulk of the rain was concentrated in just a few days. In fact just 5 days 5th, 6th, 7th 13th & 15th saw 97.0mm rain, or 79.6% of the months total. So a lower than normal number of rain & wet days.
The 25th was very windy with a deep depression sinking south just west of Scilly, but it was a totally dry day. Gust to 59mph at Gwennap Head.

The warmest day of the month was the 31st, when it reached 18.4C! The latest date I've recorded for the temperature to reach exceed 18C. (It reached 18.0C on 31/10/16, 18.4C on 29/10/06, maximum recorded in November 17.7C)
