High pressure in control?

"... high pressure still in control" for further east and north on Sunday so says an upbeat Nick Miller.

However in the next breath "...but maybe an odd shower breaking out maybe the odd thundery one".

I can only think that he is referring to these showers the model has developed over the Cairngorms by 15 UTC.

Perhaps the model has it wrong we'll see.
