Peninsula showers in southwest

The showers that started late this morning have produced more rain here in mid Devon than any of those that fell in the amber warnings earlier in the week. As far as I know they are a product of peninsula convergence similar to the Brown Willy effect. As you can see showers have broken out more widely today across the country.
