Just to let you know that t2mike has just updated his blog with his experimental long range forecast for the SW of England for the coming spring.

Thanks for the heads-up on that Bruce.
An interesting read.

No worse and no better than UKMO stab at forecasting for the months ahead.

But he seems to think summer 2018 will have average of a little above average temperature.
He does not seem to have taken account that summers in years ending in 8 are usually rotten summers.
