The day Len posted his 33.4mm rainfall, the figure in Penzance was a mere 14.8mm
Yesterday evening made up for it. 31.2mm in the 24 hours to 09:00 today, the 2nd wettest day of 2024. Now up to 107.8mm this month, though October-December is very much the 'wet' season' here.
Unusually thick fog in Penzance this morning. More like a thick inland radiation fog than a 'wet' sea/coastal fog. Drove out this morning, and no need to use the wipers, unusual in a thick sea mist.
It is starting to lift now (11:45) Just possible to see across the Jubilee pool by 11:00.
Felt muggy in calm conditions, 16C & 100% humidity.
