Occasional rain overnight - mainly slight, but heavy (max rate 12 mm/hr at 2225z) for a time before midnight, stopping late in the night.  Fog formed during the second half of the night, and is now showing signs of clearing to the SW.  Extensive low stratus currently, with very poor visibility.  Surface wind has been calm but a light SW drift started in the past half an hour.  Minimum temperature so far is 8.4 (2236z).

Fog rapidly thinned to mist after 0600z, dispersing before 0730z.  Extensive low stratus gradually lifting, and breaking and becoming cumuliform after 0800z.  Very poor visibility quickly becoming moderate after 0600z, then good or very good before 0730z, then excellent by ob time.  Surface wind light and variable becoming WNW F2-3 by 0700z.

A breezy sunny day - the warmest of the year.  Cloud has broken to relatively small amounts of shallow cumulus and thin stratocumulus.  Excellent visibility.  Surface wind WNW F2-3 increasing F4 after 1000z with gusts into the mid 20's.

A fine and sunny afternoon.  Most of the cloud is in the NE quadrant so the sunshine is unbroken and the temperature has climbed accordingly.  Some Cu med to the NE and E, and the visibility is much lower in that direction - more like 60km elsewhere.  WNW-NW surface wind almost touched F5 earlier with some gusts to 30 knots but has now moderated to F3-4.  Maximum temperature so far is 17.8 (1455z).
