Sennen, just around the corner from the N coast mist (15:30). Busy, but nothing like the madness in St. Ives. Still no sign of helicopters flying to Scilly, must be misty out there still.
It is strange, having dew points close to 20C day after day. At 14:50 misty at Lands End airport, 21C with a dew point of 21C!. It was a patch of the 'cliff top' variety, which is why it's so clear down at Sennen.
Around 23C seems a typical temperature for the far SW at the moment, but with the humidity & lack of breeze it feels much warmer.
Still waiting for significant rain here, had thunder but very little rain. Up until 09:00 today, 7mm at Camborne, 2mm at Culdrose. 5.1mm in Penzance. A localised deluge at Hayle yesterday.
