Sunshine for much of the morning, but convective cloud built up over midday, followed by a brief but heavy shower just before 14.00 local time.  Sunny intervals again subsequently, but towards 16.00 a heavy shower passed over, accompanied by several rumbles of thunder and a sharp fall in temperature (to 11.4°C at Uccle).  After another heavy shower around 17.00, the evening became dry with some further sunshine.  Cool, with a moderate SW wind.
