Some huge fog banks offshore for the last 2 days. Unbroken sunshine in Penzance since around 10am yesterday, but much of the north coast stayed dull all day.

This morning really dense sea fog on the north coast, at least it burnt back by late morning. Still visible offshore at Sennen 13:45

From Marazion this morning (10:30), zooming in towards Mousehole the far side of the bay, 3 miles away, and the fog bank swirling around Lands End.

The forecasters keep saying, this spell it's different as it's less humid. It's clearly humid here! Just not hot - yet. Maximum in Penzance yesterday 21C.

Looking down through cliff top fog. Clear over the sea, and the beach, but a bit of uplift of the very humid air.
