Penzance - A very few spots of rain - Periods of strong sunshine in the afternoon

I would have missed the rain (around 07:30) if I didn't see a few spots on the velux. Checked the radar & reasonably bright echoes, but it was virtually all evaporating on the way down.

The cloud then thinned & broke to give periods of strong sunshine from 13:00. Maximum temperature of 25.5C at about 17:30. 

I noticed it was 24C at 18:00 at the exposed hill top airport on St. Mary's, Scilly, an island where everywhere is <1 mile from the open Atlantic ocean. (I'll be there on Saturday)

Current SST at the Porthleven buoy 20.1C, 18.9C off Penzance.
