Sunny June so far

It may be chilly, especially by night but sunshine has just passed 100 hours for this June. That puts it in the rather sunny category. After a very wet May, the low humidity and high sunshine amount has dried out the countryside, there are even hints of my front lawn going brown, mostly from scorching but I suspect the soil is now dry near the surface. Monthly rainfall at just 1.6 mm.
