After  a mainly sunny afternoon on Wednesday, with a maximum of 21.5C, much more cloud yesterday (Thursday), and cooler as a result. In fact, with a maximum od 20.0C, the coolest day since 5th August (19.8C).

Back to the sunshine today, almost unbroken so far. After a minimum of 11.0C (= lowest of the month with 10th) the temperature rose rapidly and topped 20C by noon.

Maximum (so far) 21.6C. Quite a big diurnal range for this very maritime location.

SST right out at the Sevenstones Lightship off Lands End is now 19C. SST >20C over the beaches. Sea breezes just aren't what they used to be!
