Thew media has plenty of images of the devastation but I have so far seen nothing about the weather situtation that led to these tornadoes. Yes, I know the basics: hot humid air with an active incursion of colder air from the north.
Is a repeat likely tonight? The synoptic chart (15Z) shows a significant low in the same general area.
