Don't you love him?  I don't mean 'fancy' him but his gay presentation keeps me in stitches every weekend.  When you can look past the acting, he gives the forecast very competently.

I am reminded of an airline steward with another airline I often used as a passenger.  He had all the gestures, mannerisms, off to a tee and the passengers would be doubled up with laughter.  Apparently he was totally 'straight'.

I will add a story about my airline experiences.  At a stop-over I got chatting to a rather cute stewardess (let's call her "Moira").  I was getting nowhere.  A male steward who had been at the other side of the bar, came up to our table and said: "Come on Moira, time for bed!"  adding  "I bet you thought all stewards were gay didn't you Jack?"

Reminds me of the bar manager in a pub in Penzance. He wasn't overtly gay, just had some of the mannerisms in a fairly subdued way, so I was never quite sure.

Anyway, one Christmas the staff were planning a New Years party, where they would all dress as airline / airport staff. We were chatting and he said he was going to be a steward. He then went through the whole take off procedure, in the middle of the pub, in the most gay way you could imagine. That clinched it, except he's now happily married. Mind you the marriage was eccentric. No many brides you see in Doc Martins.
