Absolutely glorious day here in west Cornwall (assuming you like sea, sun, sand & surf - because there's all of it currently.)
Marazion 14:40. The sky is a lovely deep Atlantic air blue. Looking at the satellite, most of the inland Cu development is east of the Tamar.
Penzance is very sheltered with the wind generally WNW. Temperature now up to 19.2C. 18C on Scilly. Wind rather less than forecast, struggling to gust to 20mph now even at Lands End, where it's reached 17.2C.
A day to be on Scilly, one of my favourite beaches. Only down side no waves, as it faces St. Martins.
As I've mentioned before, the MetO temperature forecasts for Penzance are generally pretty good now. The same can't be said for the BBC who average >3C low.
