It's been a glorious day in Penzance, almost calm excellent visibility, deep blue sky, and 3C warmer than yesterday. Yesterday 10.7C max, today 13.7C. Warm in the sun.

A very gentle N drift aligned with the Lizard has led to some big sea breeze convergence Cb.

So in Penzance even looking inland from the prom, basically no cloud development over the moors west of Penzance

From Marazion Beach looking SW, they are filming Game of Thrones on the Mount, hence the smoke, some sort of battle.

At the same time look SE down the Lizard

Looked spectacular even from 3 miles further away in Penzance.

I couldn't help noticing at 16:00 it was 6C at Plymouth, 13C at Cardinham on Bodmin moor. Shows the difference it makes getting the sun and being under a Cb at this time of year. Still 12.8C in Penzance @ 17:00.

Month's sunshine at Bosullow set to be around 256 hours, beating 2020, which was the old record.
