Last 4 days have fluctuated a bit here, on the edge of the cold air

Sunday 9th saw decent spells of sunshine, light winds, and a maximum of 9.0C after an overnight minimum of 4.1C. We would have been the warmest place in the UK (I think) in the old days when there were such things as near sea level recording stations in Cornwall.

Monday & Tuesday were cold, cloudy with little variation in temperature. Wind made it feel particularly cold yesterday (Tuesday) I was forced to spend to hours in a pub to defrost.

            Min    Max
10th    4.2C   5.7C
11th    4.1C   5.5C (during the day)

However, my records will show a maximum of 8.8C for the 11th, as that's what it had risen to by 09:00 today - and the sun's shining! Minimum last night 5.0C

The models have been flip flopping a lot with how this cold spell with end.
