Who here uses www.wetter.de?  Useful source but now so slow as to be almost unusable.  Absolutely clogged up with adverts.  They're in danger of losing a customer, which should neatly offset any increased revenue from the adverts.  Up theirs, then.

Just clicked on the link and it goes to a website written in gobbledygook. Very quick though despite the adverts. Still on dial-up Tudor?

I go to www.wetterzentrale.de which doesn't seem to have any adverts.

I prefer wetter3.de because  it provides 1000-500 mb thickness charts as opposed to just 500 mb heights and a wealth of other detail at various scales.  And it was slick.  But it is now (suddenly) terribly slow.  Even the adverts are wrong, with the pound sign following rather than preceding the amount.  What has happened?  Has the site been invaded by Martians, brexiters, Millwall supporters and various other riff-raff?

Well this is wetterzentrale.de/topkarten which does have an advert on right margin as you see.
I like to use it to get the 16-day GFS forecast map.

wetter3.de has been neoliberalised. I think Wetterzentrale provides thicknesses if you look in Mean Cloud Cover.

Graham, I have an adblocker installed in the browser as an add-in. It seems to work with Wetterzentrale but not the website Tudor was complaining about. I can testify that Wetterzentrale has no adverts at all, as does most of the other websites I visit. It would be good to have an adblocker for YouTube.
