We currently have an American (Jen -
my wife's half niece) from Georgia staying with us. There were some gusts last evening/night in excess of 30 knots. Apparently Jen - who has some experience of real tornadoes - thought that the strong (?) wind here might be a foretaste of worse to come. She loves the weather in this part of 'Scartland'.
