The Met office are going for 28C max on Tues and Weds here in Wembury.
Beeb more conservative with 25 and 24C.
We shall see.

Beeb always seem more conservative. They are more like the 'old' MetO forecasts. I have to say the new forecasts are generally very accurate here as far as temperature is concerned.
20.6C max here today.

BBC now shows 21C for Penzance for Monday, MetO 24C.
As the wind is forecast to be ENE-NE, rather than an onshore SE like today, I know which one I'd go for.

So Met Office forecast was about right.

For Penzance - forecasts at the time of your original post
Tuesday Actual Max 24.7C, forecast 25C

The temperature forecasts have been very good lately. I think the discrepancy for yesterday was due to the expectation at the time of more of a N airflow over west Cornwall by daytime Wednesday. In practice, the gentle N breeze of Tuesday dropped out to give near calm conditions and no sea breeze yesterday.
The fresher air has now arrived, but still set to be a lovely warm day.
