Typical thundery sky this morning.

Radar is a little misleading as it's generally high level cloud. Barely a spot reaching the ground. Very little wind here or Camborne (or Marazion, based on the webcam) but as always in an easterly, gusty up at Culdrose.

Yesterdays Atlantic north coast swell is now over. Good surfing for the Boardmasters at Newquay. Decent swell, light winds & warm sunshine!

Thunder 13:30.

At least 3 rumbles, one fairly close. No measurable rain, just a few large drops.

All clearing away now.

Added a bit of interest before it's back to the sunshine.

Thundery showers to the south east of Cornwall in the past few minutes.

More lightning late yesterday evening, no rain though.

Photo of the lightning off Scilly at much the same time. (Photo from Norbert Moricz (Norb-Art) that he took from Tresco last night.)

That's an excellent photo of a surfer.  The other pictures aren't bad!
We (sadly) rarely get lightning up here.
