"Eight courageous Cornishmen, members of the RNLI lifeboat Solomon Browne, selflessly ventured into treacherous waters during a Force 12 storm. They confronted 60ft waves in a valiant effort to rescue the crew of the Union Star, whose engines had failed and were perilously drifting toward the rocks.
Tragically, no-one returned home.
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with their families and friends in Mousehole"
