It might be a little early but here's the analysis on highest gusts from storm Hector. Apparently a gust to 74 mph at Orlock Head this morning was the highest gust ever recorded in June in Northern Ireland. I don't know when anemographic records started in the UK, possibly as late as the 1950's, but it was enough to justify the amber alert they had issued for the region - well done Met Office.
