A fine and sunny morning.  Cumulus shallow at ob time but starting to build strongly now.  Excellent visibility.  Surface wind SW-W F2-3.

SYNOP: 12684 52403 10169 20084 40150 58004 60001 85800 333 84830=
Variable amounts of cumulus and mainly small amounts of stratocumulus.  Some Cu med but no precipitation seen.  Excellent visibility.  Surface wind S-W F1-2, direction rather variable at times.

1500z: 06007KT 8km Precipitation in the vicinity 4CB025 4CU030 (/AC100 /CI250) 14.7/9.9 QFF 1015.1 rising.
SYNOP: 41558 70607 10147 20099 40151 53001 71511 87962 333 84925 84830=
Precipitation visible in a line to W and NW, reducing visibility in that direction.  A lot of CB developing to N/NW initially and now to W - appears to be in a line orientated SSE-NNW, with the southern end slowly extending SSE.  Cumulus congestus also visible to SE and E.  Visibility very good or excellent in most directions but reduced to moderate in the NW quadrant.  Surface wind S-W F1-2 suddenly becoming ENE F3 around 1430z.  Maximum temperature so far is 18.4 (1251z).
