A fairly dry month with daytime temperatures close to normal.  A cold and cloudy period from the 7th to the 18th was preceded by slightly milder conditions, with mild conditions then lasting to the end of the month.  The prevalence of cloudy conditions ensured that night time temperatures were above average.  There was also less snow and frost than normal.
