Max here 30.3°C.  Moderate SW'ly breeze.  Cloudless but the sky is a very pale blue and the horizon is basically white in all directions.

Exeter Airport made it to 32°C today which is unusual for an exposed site more known for its coolness rather than heat. Drove into the Big City (Exeter) for a site meeting this afternoon and the car thermometer ended up reading 34°C, probably over-reading by a degree or two but it felt far hotter there than back home where we had a gentle sea breeze and a maximum temperature of 27.4°C. High dew points of 20°C made it feel rather on the muggy side.

I think the land rises gently to the north and south of the airport so it is in a bit of a dip, unaffected by sea breezes.
In the winter on clear nights, cold air drainage leads to particularly low temps.
Max temp here today was 23.4°C.
Quite pleasant thanks to a gentle sea breeze.

Pleasant here at 22.2C, though over 21C from 09:30 until sometime in the evening. Wind was generally an offshore westerly, but the north coast sea fog only dissipated a couple of miles behind Penzance as the air descended, so the temperature didn't have a chance to rise too much. No flights to Scilly all day, from Lands End or Penzance. (Fog on Scilly & at Lands End).

Visibility VG to E in the morning, G later in the day as it became increasingly hazy.

Graham
Penzance - No measurable rain yet.
