The NW sea breeze has just struggled to the beach, as shown by the line of cloud.
As a result very little wind on the beach this afternoon, offshore then just onshore.
No Atlantic swell, just a wind chop along east facing parts of the channel coast.
Very few visitors down this week.

A repeat performance today, though whilst I was there (left 15:30) the sea breeze never quite reached the beach, it just about fell calm at times.
Absolutely flat again. There are some seriously depressed surfers around. Wind chop on a beach exposed to the E wind might be OK if your used to Bournemouth surf, but we expect something rather more exciting.
